HUAYI City Gate Natural Gas Regulating & Metering Skid is designed for natural gas distribution, city gate stations and industrial gas supply applications. The integrated system can combine gas filtration, ultrasonic flow metering, pressure regulation, instrumentation, valves and process piping within a factory-assembled skid-mounted configuration. Associated pigging equipment can also be supplied according to pipeline and project requirements.
A reference project configuration is designed for a rated gas flow of 100,000 Nm³/h, with an inlet working pressure of 3.2–5.78 MPa, a design pressure of 6.93 MPa and an outlet working pressure of 0.35 MPa. The reference system incorporates two filter separators, two ultrasonic flow meters and four pressure regulators. Final process parameters, equipment arrangement and component selection are engineered according to project-specific operating conditions and applicable specifications.

Associated pig launcher and receiver equipment can also be supplied when required by the pipeline system and project scope.

Key Functions
Gas Filtration
Dual filter separators can be incorporated to remove solid particles and entrained liquids from the natural gas stream, helping protect downstream flow metering and pressure regulating equipment.
Ultrasonic Flow Metering
The reference configuration incorporates two ultrasonic flow meters for natural gas flow measurement. Metering arrangement, operating range and accuracy requirements are selected according to the applicable project and measurement specifications.
Pressure Regulation
Multiple pressure regulators can be configured according to the required flow capacity, pressure reduction ratio, operating philosophy and redundancy requirements. The regulating system is engineered according to the specified inlet pressure range and required downstream pressure.
Pigging Support
Associated pig launcher and receiver equipment can be supplied for pipeline inspection, cleaning and maintenance when included within the project scope.
