HUAYI LNG Regasification & Pressure Regulating Skid is designed to convert LNG into natural gas and deliver it at the pressure required by downstream users. The system can integrate LNG vaporization, gas reheating, pressure regulation, flow metering, safety protection, control and optional odorization within a skid-mounted configuration.
The skid can be engineered according to LNG supply conditions, required gas flow rate, inlet and outlet pressure, ambient conditions and downstream gas requirements. Depending on the project, it can be used for industrial gas supply, distributed LNG supply, temporary or emergency gas supply and other LNG regasification applications.
Product Overview
The HUAYI LNG Regasification & Pressure Regulating Skid provides an integrated solution for converting LNG into gaseous natural gas and regulating the gas to the required downstream pressure.
Depending on project requirements, the system can integrate LNG vaporization, gas reheating, pressure regulation, flow metering, safety protection, control and odorization on a skid-mounted platform. This integrated configuration can reduce field installation work and simplify the interface between major process components.
Typical Process
LNG from the storage and supply system enters the vaporization section, where it is converted from the liquid phase into gaseous natural gas.
The vaporized gas can then pass through reheating, pressure regulation and metering sections according to the required process configuration. For applications requiring odorized natural gas, an odorization system can be integrated downstream according to project requirements.
The treated natural gas is subsequently supplied to the downstream gas distribution system or end user at the specified operating conditions.
Typical System Components
Depending on the project configuration, the LNG regasification skid may include:
LNG vaporizer
Gas reheater
Pressure regulating system
Flow metering system
Safety shut-off and pressure protection devices
Valves and process piping
Instrumentation and control system
Optional gas odorization system
Skid structure and associated auxiliary components
LNG storage tanks, unloading systems and other upstream equipment can be engineered separately according to the overall LNG station configuration.
Pressure Regulation
The pressure regulating section reduces the vaporized natural gas to the pressure required by the downstream pipeline or gas-consuming equipment.
The regulating arrangement, number of pressure reduction stages and safety protection configuration can be selected according to inlet pressure, outlet pressure, flow capacity and operating requirements.
Gas Metering
A gas flow metering system can be incorporated into the skid for monitoring and measuring downstream natural gas flow.
The meter type and instrumentation configuration can be selected according to flow range, pressure conditions, measurement requirements and project specifications.
Optional Odorization
Where odorization is required, the skid can be equipped with an odorant injection system.
The odorization configuration and dosing method can be selected according to the applicable gas supply requirements and project specifications.
Control and Safety
The skid can incorporate pressure and temperature monitoring, safety shut-off devices, alarms and automatic control functions according to project requirements.
Remote monitoring and communication functions can also be considered when required by the overall station control philosophy.
Typical Applications
The system can be configured for applications including:
Industrial LNG gas supply
Distributed LNG gas supply stations
Commercial and utility gas supply
Temporary natural gas supply
Emergency gas supply
Areas without direct pipeline natural gas access
LNG satellite and regasification stations
Customized Engineering
Each LNG regasification project may have different operating conditions. HUAYI can configure the system according to project-specific information such as:
Required natural gas flow rate
LNG supply pressure
Required outlet pressure
Ambient temperature
LNG composition
Required gas outlet temperature
Metering requirements
Odorization requirements
Control and communication requirements
Applicable project specifications
Final equipment configuration and technical parameters should be determined based on the confirmed project operating conditions.
