LNG Satellite Station Solution
HUAYI LNG Satellite Station Solution is designed for locations requiring natural gas supply where pipeline gas is unavailable or additional gas supply capacity is required. LNG is delivered to the station, stored under cryogenic conditions, regasified and conditioned to the required downstream gas pressure before being supplied to city gas networks or industrial users.
Depending on project requirements, the system can integrate LNG unloading, storage tank pressurization, LNG regasification, pressure regulation, gas metering, odorization, safety protection, instrumentation and electrical control.
Typical System Configuration
LNG unloading and transfer system
LNG storage and tank pressurization system
LNG ambient air vaporization system
Gas pressure regulating system
Gas metering system
Gas odorization system
Safety shut-off and pressure relief system
Instrumentation and electrical control system

Solution Overview
An LNG satellite station provides a localized natural gas supply solution by receiving LNG from road tankers, storing it in cryogenic storage facilities and converting the LNG into gaseous natural gas for downstream distribution or industrial consumption.
HUAYI can configure the LNG gas supply system according to required gas capacity, inlet and outlet pressure, LNG storage requirements, site conditions and downstream gas demand.
Typical Process
LNG is transferred from the delivery tanker to the storage system. Depending on the station configuration, tank pressure can be maintained through a pressurization system. LNG is then supplied to the vaporization system, where it is converted from liquid to gaseous natural gas.
The gas can subsequently pass through pressure regulation, metering and odorization before being delivered to the downstream gas network or industrial gas users.
Integrated Functions
The solution can integrate:
LNG unloading and transfer
LNG storage and tank pressurization
LNG vaporization
Gas pressure regulation
Gas flow metering
Gas odorization
Emergency shut-off and pressure relief
Pressure and temperature monitoring
Instrumentation and electrical control
Remote monitoring according to project requirements
Safety and Control
Depending on the project configuration, the system can incorporate cryogenic emergency shut-off valves, pressure relief devices, gas-phase overpressure protection, grounding arrangements and instrumentation for monitoring pressure, temperature and other operating parameters.
Control and monitoring functions can be configured according to the required operating philosophy and project specifications.
Typical Applications
City gas supply
Industrial natural gas supply
Areas without pipeline natural gas access
Supplemental or peak gas supply
Temporary or distributed LNG gas supply projects
Project-Specific Engineering
LNG satellite station configurations vary significantly according to gas demand, storage capacity, operating pressure, ambient conditions and local project requirements.
HUAYI can engineer the system according to project-specific gas flow capacity, LNG storage requirements, outlet pressure, equipment arrangement, instrumentation, control requirements and applicable project specifications.
